To our members,

As of last night, Oakland County has its first confirmed case of COVID-19 Coronavirus. The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially declared COVID-19 a global pandemic.

Here at SALTA, our primary mission is supporting the health and wellness of anyone that is an active member. With this in mind, we are using a digital-first approach to promptly treat anyone who is feeling ill. This is the approach recommended by the CDC for medical practices and will help us prevent transmission of the virus. If you call the office, we will ask you several questions about your symptoms and recent travel history. We will arrange for a time to speak with a SALTA provider by phone that day so that you can discuss your concerns and appropriate treatment of your symptoms.

We are in touch with the health department and have implemented the latest recommendations from the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and WHO. The most up-to-date information can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

If you have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please contact us as soon as possible. If you are at home, please stay at home. Call us, or send a MyChart message.

SALTA’s policies and recommendations will evolve as we learn more about COVID-19.

Best,

Dr. Daniel Seidman DO

Medical Director
