John Hsieh joined SALTA Direct Primary Care in 2025, bringing a dynamic blend of engineering expertise, business acumen, and leadership to the organization. With degrees in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering, John transitioned to strategic sales engineering roles at Aisin World Corp of America and Toyota Boshoku America.

Driven by his passion for leadership and innovation, John pursued his MBA at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he developed expertise in entrepreneurship and business strategy.

John’s connection to healthcare runs deep through his family legacy—his father, a family physician who established Michiana VIP MD (a DPC clinic launched in 2018), and his mother, a pediatrician. This medical heritage, combined with his business expertise, fuels his dedication to advancing the transformative impact of Direct Primary Care and creating accessible, patient-centered healthcare solutions.

At SALTA, John leverages his unique background in engineering problem-solving, business strategy, and healthcare innovation to drive the company’s mission of making exceptional healthcare more accessible and affordable for everyone. He also serves as the Michigan Chapter Leader for the Free Market Medical Association (FMMA), advancing direct primary care advocacy and education throughout the state.

Outside of work, John stays active playing ultimate frisbee and weightlifting, bringing the same energy and competitive spirit to his professional endeavors.
